What's this all about?
We believe in using the talents we're given us to help others; this can come in many forms. Take a look at some of the ways in which we have been able to help serve our community!
"Truly I tell you, that whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

"Where we're going, we don't need roads." - Doc Brown
The more technology expands, the further we detach. That's why we're teaming up with Story Unlikely. We believe that stories are powerful forms of communication, a secret language implanted into our souls that reach us in ways that words alone never could. Confused? Intrigued? Visit www.storyunlikely.com Don't forget to sign up for the monthly story, then strap in. We can't promise where we're going - only that the road is rocky, but the view just might take your breath away.
The Dog Park Trail System begins
A hiking and biking trail is being created in the 15 acres of woodland just behind the dog park on Marquette st in Davenport. This is a FORC approved trail, meaning it is being built and maintained completely with volunteer labor and donations, and we've decided to play a major role in helping. This is a massive 3 year project, so if you're looking for more information or ways to help, contact us or visit the Facebook page.
With the help of dozens of volunteers and hundreds of hours, we've completed 1.4 miles of trail, installed two tables and a kiosk, and built numerous trail features. Stay tuned - much more to come next year!

The original Von Maur house is being renewed
Just off the corner of Grand and Locust sits a majestic old home that's seen better days. Recently, Freedom Home Ministries has taken over the building for the purpose of transforming this once great dwelling into 10 apartments for veterans, but each apartment had one major (electrical) problem - they had no heat!
We were able to install baseboards heaters in every room with their own designated circuits. With the help of many other companies and volunteers, Grand on Grand will soon be home to 10 veterans, helping them to get back on their feet. We love our country and the people who have sacrificed so much for us, and are honored to be a part of this.

Much is happening at the Quad City Prayer Center
Our friends at the QCPC located in North Park Mall in Davenport are undergoing some major changes! Most the the work (but not limited to, as anyone who has ever undergone the remodel process!) includes a new stage and multi-room remodel. And just as any remodeler can tell you about the process, anyone in the non-profit world can tell you how there are never enough funds.
The QCPC (which also functions as the home for Passion Church) has been doing much of the work themselves and through other volunteers. We wanted to help out, and they had a big need in the area of electrical. We stepped onto the scene after much of the rough in was completed, but believe me, there's plenty left to do!

Meet the Velasquez Family
To make room for the (soon to be) newest member of the Velasquez family, we are working on remodeling a room in the basement. Be sure to check back for the latest updates on our progress!
