Where do we operate?

We work primarily in the Quad Cities (Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline and Rock Island) and surrounding areas. Not sure if your house or business is too far? Just give us a call and ask!

What do we service?

We do electrical work for primarily residential and small commercial projects: panel swaps, service upgrades, new homes or additions, remodels, hot tub and spa wiring, lighting upgrades, and service calls for anything electrical related!

Our hours

We generally operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, but often fluctuate to the specific needs of the job. Please note that we do not do emergency service calls for new customers.

Estimates

For medium and large projects like room remodels or panel swaps, contact us for an estimate. Sometimes we can even do this without having to stop out.

Hourly Rates

When companies offer an up front price, they factor into that price the time it takes to bid the job. If a job only takes an hour or two, you might end up paying more for the estimate than the actual work. That's why for smaller jobs and work that requires troubleshooting, we strongly recommend hiring us at our hourly rate (a service call) to keep your cost as low as possible. All service calls are performed with a one hour minimum charge. Call us anytime for our current rates.

12 Stones Electric is owned and operated by master electrician Dan Hankner who lives in Davenport, Iowa with his wife and three children. Established in 2013, our company has remained small - though this is not reflective of demand, but rather our continued difficulty (as every contractor knows) in finding top tier candidates - as we'd rather focus on providing unparalleled quality and service than by growing so fast that we let any of our customers down.When you hire 12 Stones Electric, you're hiring a small team that cares about its customers and treats people in the same manner that we would want to be treated. That's our guiding ethos - what we were founded on - and what we continue to deliver to our customers day in and day out.

Freedom Home Ministries

Just off the corner of Grand and Locust sits a majestic old home that's seen better days. Recently, Freedom Home Ministries has taken over the building for the purpose of transforming this once great dwelling into 10 apartments for veterans, but each apartment had one major (electrical) problem - they had no heat!We were able to install baseboards heaters in every room with their own designated circuits. With the help of many other companies and volunteers, Grand on Grand will soon be home to 10 veterans, helping them to get back on their feet. We love our country and the people who have sacrificed so much for us, and are honored to be a part of this.

To make room for the newest member of the Velasquez family, we helped remodel a room in the basement!

The Dog Park Trails

We helped construct 3 miles of hiking and biking trail in the 15 acres of woodland just behind the dog park on Marquette street in Davenport. This project was built (and is still maintained) completely by volunteer labor and donations, of which we decided to play a major role in helping. Learn more at our Facebook page, or QCFORC.

Quad City prayer Center

Our friends at the QCPC are undergoing some major changes! Most the the work (but not limited to, as anyone who has ever undergone the remodel process) includes a new stage and multi-room remodel. And just as any remodeler can tell you about the process, anyone in the non-profit world can tell you how there are never enough funds.The QCPC (which also functions as the home for Passion Church) has been doing much of the work themselves and through other volunteers. We wanted to help out, and they had a big need in the area of electrical. We stepped onto the scene after much of the rough in was completed, but believe me, there's plenty left to do!
